Human Resources Generalist

This is a direct hire opportunity where you'll play a key role supporting employees throughout their entire employment journey: from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance. This is an opportunity to make an impact, take the next step in your HR career and not simply maintain the status quo. What You'll Be Doing No two days will look exactly the same. You'll be involved in nearly every aspect of Human Resources, including: Processing bi-weekly payroll (payroll experience is required) Administering employee benefits, 401(k), and open enrollment Supporting recruiting and onboarding efforts Managing workers' compensation claims Assisting with employee relations and policy guidance Coordinating performance review programs Supporting HR reporting, compliance, and special projects Partnering with managers to help create a positive workplace culture If you enjoy balancing people, process, and problem-solving, you'll thrive in this role. We're Looking For Someone Who Has 3-4 years of Human Resources experience Payroll processing experience Recruiting experience Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience in a manufacturing environment is REQUIRED , PHR or SHRM certification is welcomed but not required. Schedule & Travel Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM This is a fully on-site position in Brooklyn Park, MN. REMOTE AND HYBRID ARE NOT AVAILABLE Training begins with one week in Chicago, followed by occasional company meetings in Chicago every other month during your first year, then quarterly thereafter.
