DBS Tech China is hiring a deeply technical, hands-on engineering squad lead to drive key wealth management initiatives and investment journeys. This role is suited to a strong full stack engineer who can own a stream end to end, lead one or more engineering squads, and stay close to architecture, design, and implementation. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of modern wealth management platforms and investment journeys within your stream.

• Act as a hands-on technical leader for one or more engineering squads, driving strong technical execution and engineering standards.

• Develop and mentor engineering talent, foster a high-performing culture, and take ownership of career growth and retention for your team members.

• Build and evolve full stack systems across a modern stack that includes Java, ReactJS.

• Design scalable distributed solutions across microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and micro-frontend architectures.

• Own solution design and engineering delivery for your area, ensuring alignment with broader platform and architecture direction.

• Work closely with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to turn complex requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Contribute directly to key design decisions, implementation approaches, and critical delivery paths.

• Evaluate and apply modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development tooling, where they can improve speed, quality, and developer effectiveness.
