HR Generalist

Job Title: HR Generalist Location: Perrysburg, OH 43551 Employment Type: Contract to Perm Pay Rate: $30.00 / hour Job Overview Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for an HR Generalist in Perrysburg Township, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing distribution center with the potential to be hired on permanently. You will support both employees and leadership in a fast‑paced environment. Available Shift Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Occasional overtime may be required Duties and Responsibilities Recruit and source qualified candidates using multiple recruiting methods Coordinate hiring activities and support onboarding processes Create, maintain, and update employee personnel files Draft and revise HR policies to ensure compliance with current regulations Initiate and manage employee incident reports through resolution Coach, motivate, and support employees and supervisors Prepare and administer employee disciplinary documentation Organize team‑building activities and employee engagement initiatives Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all HR matters Assist with additional HR and administrative duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications Previous Human Resources experience required Strong recruiting and sourcing experience Knowledge of employment policies and HR best practices Experience maintaining confidential employee records Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Self‑motivated with excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS experience is a plus Potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.
