Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours | Rotating Night/Evening Shifts (19:00–07:30 / 15:00–03:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, with potential for up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients presenting with complex, multi-system diagnoses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective emergency care
• Float within the Emergency Department specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed
• Adhere to all departmental scheduling requirements, including rotating night and evening shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as they fall

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor; may be completed during onboarding)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP certification (NRP or AAP accepted)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Comfort with floating within scope to sister Emergency Department facilities with no restrictions
