Job Title Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Overview We are accepting applications for Nuclear Medicine Technologists in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. Positions are available as full‑time or part‑time, with a 4‑day work week and flexible hourly rates. Compensation and Benefits Full‑time: $193,104 per year (equivalent to $92.83 per hour). Four ten‑hour days per week; pay rate may vary with days and hours. Part‑time premium rate: $121.50 per hour for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday. Regular hourly rate: $81.00 per hour. Duties Drive a small van to customer and vendor locations. Load and unload mobile imaging equipment, radiopharmaceuticals, and related accessories using the winch and fold‑out ramp loading system. Register patients by confirming identification, reviewing consultation requests, checking instructions, consulting with the radiologist, and entering services into the patient log. Screen patients for appropriateness, contraindications and obtain relevant history. Comfort patients and families by answering questions, explaining procedures, and describing equipment. Perform imaging and flow‑study procedures, operate radioscopic equipment, prepare, dispense, and administer radiopharmaceuticals. Monitor patients during procedures, maintain vital‑sign records, recognize emergencies, and provide first aid as required. Prepare reports and complete other paperwork such as billing, QC, and regulatory documentation. Maintain and troubleshoot nuclear medicine equipment and supplies, perform preventive maintenance and mandatory Q.C. procedures, arrange for repairs, and manage inventory and supply requisitions. Follow radiation‑safety policies, ALARA principles, and quality‑assurance protocols. Update job knowledge through continuing education, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations. Adhere to professional standards, company policies, federal, state, local requirements, and accreditation standards. Accept ownership of new requests, add value to work, and maintain a positive, respectful attitude toward co‑workers, customers, patients and staff. Perform other duties assigned by management. Qualifications California Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification (preferred). Valid driver’s license. Experience in mobile nuclear medicine service (preferred). Thoroughness, strong bedside manner, problem‑solving ability. Skill in using medical technologies and diagnostic procedures. Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation and dispensing. Ability to present technical information clearly. Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Analytical and informational skills. Team‑work attitude, honesty, dependability, loyalty, strong work ethic. Location Los Angeles/Orange County, Santa Fe Springs, California. Positions are in‑person.
