Certified  Medical Assistant – Washington, PA 15301 – Daylight Monday - Friday

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire (Permanent placement on company payroll with immediate full benefits;  not a temporary job )

Location: Washington, PA 15301

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (Standard daylight schedule; zero evenings, weekends, or holidays required!)

New Hire Starting Base Pay: $19.40 – $22.08 per hour (Placement on career ladder tier and starting pay based on experience, with clear advancement pathways as you build specialized expertise.)

Future Earning Potential: Established employees have the opportunity to earn progressive pay increases up to $30.14 per hour over time through performance, tenure, and continuous learning.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Education & Credentials: High School Diploma or GED required; Current/Valid Medical Assistant certification  required .
• Clinical Skills: Experience or training in rooming patients, taking vital signs, acquiring medical histories, performing phlebotomy, conducting EKGs, level-one lab testing (e.g., urinalysis), and administering physician-directed injections/vaccines.
• Front Office Capabilities: Knowledge of patient check-in/check-out, scheduling appointments, telephone triage, insurance verification, medical record charting, and HIPAA compliance.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy, familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, medical terminology, and office equipment operation (scanning, faxing, data entry).

How You'll Make an Impact

• Patient Flow & Clinical Support: Welcome patients, collect vital signs and medical histories, prepare exam rooms, and assist patients with mobility or specimen collection.
• Procedural Care Support: Assist specialty physicians during in-office clinical procedures, prepare sterile instrument setups, and relay post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Diagnostic & Laboratory Testing: Perform phlebotomy draws, run EKGs, process level-one lab samples, and document clinical data accurately in the electronic health record.
• Dual Front Office Assistance: Manage incoming calls, schedule follow-up appointments, obtain lab/imaging reports, verify insurance coverage, and handle chart management.
• Infection Control & Inventory Upkeep: Clean and sanitize procedure rooms between patient visits, sterilize clinical instruments (autoclaving), and restock exam rooms to maintain inventory levels.
