Industrial Electrician Job Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation on industrial machinery and facility electrical systems
• Maintain and repair control panels, electrical equipment, machinery, and production systems
• Read and interpret electrical codes, blueprints, wiring diagrams, manuals, and schematic diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify equipment issues
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Install and work with conduit, wiring, and electrical components
• Draft sketches for wiring layouts and equipment locations
• Prepare requisitions for electrical tools, parts, materials, and supplies
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and electrical repairs
• Follow all electrical safety procedures, workplace policies, and company regulations
• Complete additional electrical maintenance and repair duties as assigned

Industrial Electrician Qualifications

• Previous industrial electrical, maintenance electrician, or electrical technician experience required
• Experience using conduit benders, cutters, threaders, soldering tools, and electrical testing instruments
• Strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting and safety procedures
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to perform minor mechanical and equipment maintenance
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow written and verbal instructions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work around industrial machinery
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to safely use electrical tools and testing equipment

Schedule Options


Choose from one of two Monday-Friday shifts:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM-1:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM-9:00 PM
