Veterinary Assistant

Athens Regional Veterinary Services is a compassionate, fast-paced veterinary clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care for pets and exceptional service to their owners. We are a supportive, team-oriented practice looking for a motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
Safely handle and restrain animals
Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and sanitation
Collect patient histories and support client communication
Assist with basic laboratory procedures and diagnostics
Administer medications under supervision
Support front-desk duties as needed

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
Passion for animal care and client service
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable handling animals of various sizes and temperaments
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
