Insurance Defense Associate Attorney – Tampa, FL A well-established Tampa-based civil litigation firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team. The firm represents insurers and insureds in a variety of general liability matters and is looking to add an attorney who wants to gain strong, hands‑on litigation experience in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Handle insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents Conduct legal research and support case strategy development Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on active litigation files Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar (or ability to obtain admission) Litigation experience preferred (insurance defense, general liability, or related practice areas) Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Base salary range: $115,000 – $150,000 Bonus potential: Up to $20,000 annually Employee health insurance coverage (100% insured for base plan) Employer-paid life and long‑term disability insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr Ideal Talent Group
