Manufacturing Team Lead - Finishing 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:00pm (P)

A Snapshot of Your Day As a Team Leader in Finishing, you will work alongside operators performing daily tasks in a lead role and ensuring all assigned tasks are performed on time according to proper procedures and specifications. You will promote safety, quality, and delivery; identify and resolve issues promptly in our Gibsonton, Florida location. Responsibilities Organizing daily operator tasks at shift start based on team availability and critical path activities, reporting on team members' work activity to the manager. Understanding and following the safety requirements of the job. Maintaining and reporting on production status to the manager, ensuring performance boards are up to date and the job is tracking to schedule. Facilitating shift changeover status/briefing meetings, team and department meetings; serving as designated liaison to hand off operations to the next shift. Qualifications Evidence of High School Diploma or GED is required. Experience in a manufacturing setting and proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required. Experience with ceramic manufacturing, statistical methods, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed is preferred. Able to perform basic math functions using the metric system. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
