Administrative Director Of Special Education
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer/Superintendent, the Granada Hills Charter Administrative Director of Special Education oversees all aspects of the School's Special Education program serving students in grades TK-12. The Administrative Director of Special Education possesses leadership abilities, a comprehensive educational vision that is consistent with the school's mission and educational program, a global frame of reference, skill in hiring and supervising excellent teachers, technological and data-analysis experience, and if possible, legal experience.
Requirements / Qualifications
Master's Degree in educational leadership, public administration or related field California Administrative Services Credential Teaching Credential or Pupil Personnel Credential

Skills to work effectively as a member of a school management team. 2. Ability to supervise classroom instruction. Briefly describe the process or model you use. 3. Ability to promote positive community relations. 4. Knowledge and background education to evaluate subject area curriculum. 5. Knowledge and experience leading instructional technology for staff or students or both. 6. Knowledge and background in the "Professional Learning Community" model of school organization. 7. Experience in efforts to close the achievement gap between disadvantaged and advanced learners.
