Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Central Valley, CA

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist to drive demand for cardiovascular medicines across Central Valley, California. The role combines scientific expertise with sales execution, engaging healthcare providers through differentiated customer experiences and clinical dialogue to ensure appropriate patient treatment.

Responsibilities

Promote approved BMS cardiovascular product indications within assigned territory to meet sales targets
Conduct in-office presentations and scientific discussions with healthcare providers on label-consistent topics
Organize external speaker programs and manage logistics with approved speakers
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with regional thought leaders and community physicians
Collaborate cross-functionally with other BMS teams to deliver superior customer experiences

Requirements

Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience
Proven ability to communicate scientific and clinical data accurately to physicians
Demonstrated track record building credibility with healthcare providers and office staff
Cardiovascular experience preferred
Strong account management and sales performance history meeting or exceeding goals
Effective cross-functional collaboration with positive team mindset
