Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including obstetric, vascular, small parts, and general imaging, supporting patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations such as OB, vascular, small parts, and general US studies.
Operate Siemens S2000 equipment with proficiency and ensure optimal imaging quality.
Maintain accurate documentation of scans and communicate findings to the radiologists or supervising physicians.
Adhere to department protocols, safety standards, and maintain patient confidentiality.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize cases and manage patient flow efficiently.
Complete departmental orientation and training, including shifts with a preceptor.

Qualifications:

Possess current and unexpired WV State Diagnostic Medical Sonographer license.
Hold ARDMS and/or RVT certification, with vascular or general certification as applicable.
Have BLS certification and comply with all basic and specialty credential requirements.
Demonstrate experience in arterial extremity Doppler and vascular ultrasound, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Be able to start IVs when needed and work flexible schedules including 12-hour shifts.
Able to provide a copy of a valid driver's license for submission.
