Fetal Sonographer

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM, with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fetal Sonographer with experience in obstetrics. The ideal candidate will perform various imaging studies and demonstrate proficiency in fetal imaging and vascular ultrasounds. This position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and knowledge of the latest ultrasound technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasounds.
• Conduct fetal tests and arterial extremity Doppler studies.
• Start IVs as required for procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to provide quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Fetal experience in obstetrics required.
• Current BLS certification.
• WV License required.
• ARDMS and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification is preferred.
• Experience starting IVs.
• Familiarity with EMR system (Community Works) and PACS (Intellirad/Intelliconnect).
