• Start Date: 09/22/2026
• End Date: Ongoing (working on 2027 shifts)
• Shift: 3p-12a, 8a-4p, 1p-11p, 9p-6a, 11p-8a (various days)
• Hours/Week: Approx. 40 hours/week, 8 hours per shift
• Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem
• License/Certs: Active CA license, DEA, BC or BE within 3-5 years, ABEM/ABEOM certification (No ABIM/ABFM)
• Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide emergency medical care to adult patients in an inpatient hospital setting
• Manage an average of 110 patients in 24 hours
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care
• Complete all documentation accurately and promptly
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
• Participate in a pilot program for increased rates based on shift volume and consistency

What You Need:

• Valid California medical license and DEA registration
• BC or BE in Emergency Medicine or related specialty (within 3-5 years of residency)
• ABEM or ABEOM certification (no ABIM or ABFM)
• 2-3 professional references available for verification
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently under hospital protocols
