Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, direction, and movement throughout the location while following applicable post orders and client guidelines.
• Support staff and guests during security-related events by communicating clearly, documenting observations, and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
