As an Allied Universal officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, campus grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and support a professional environment within the healthcare location.
• Assist with incident reporting, direction-giving, and general support services while following Allied Universal standards and client site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
