Armed Cleared Security Officer – Patrol & Access Control Location: Poway, CA | Shift: Open | Pay Rate: $26.00/Hour Requirements: Guard Card , Firearm Permit , California Driver's License , Security Experience , Secret clearance or willingness to obtain one . Responsibilities Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information. Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information. Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site. Greet guests and employees, assist where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information. Follow site‑specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate. Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary. Qualifications (Must Have) High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance applicable level; national security eligibility determined by stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment. Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. Minimum of three years of law‑enforcement, military, or private armed security experience. Minimum age 21 (or higher if required by state). United States citizen, needed to obtain required government clearance. Ability to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports.
