Recruiting Coordinator

The Opportunity We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our growing Talent Acquisition team. This individual will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience by coordinating interviews, managing recruiting operations, and ensuring a seamless hiring process from initial outreach through onboarding. Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Key Responsibilities Coordinate interviews across multiple departments, managing complex calendars and scheduling logistics. Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, providing timely communication and a high‑touch experience. Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure interviews are scheduled efficiently and feedback is collected promptly. Manage candidate records and job requisitions within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy and compliance. Prepare interview materials, coordinate onsite interview logistics, and facilitate candidate visits. Assist with preparing offer letters, background checks, and pre‑employment documentation. Support new hire onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee. Maintain recruiting reports, dashboards, and hiring metrics. Coordinate recruiting events, career fairs, and university recruiting initiatives as needed. Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and enhance the candidate experience. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, talent acquisition, or administrative support. Experience working in a high‑volume or fast‑paced environment. Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑through. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, iCIMS, or similar platforms is preferred.
