Phlebotomist-Tallahassee

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for a Patient Service Center in Tallahassee, Florida. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and delivering customer service in a clinic setting. Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm with rotating Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information accurately and process billing
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Three months of phlebotomy experience minimum
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
