Experienced Chef/Food Service Worker Employer
Chunky and Bop’s Philadelphia Cheesesteaks and Hoagies Location 8567 Landover Rd, Landover, MD 20785 is looking for a Food Service/ Short Order Chef
Full-time/Part-time positions available. Shifts include early mornings. days, nights, weekends, and Holidays.
Pay: Based upon experience.
Experienced Chef/ Food Service Worker Duties:
• Performs a variety of tasks having several steps or a sequence of tasks that requires attention to work operations in a kitchen and dining area. Follows established procedures and food safety guidelines.
• Primary duties include taking orders, meal preparation, meat carving, adapting to the current technology used to operate the establishment, and all other restaurant-related duties
• Receives specific training from the supervisory chef and will be evaluated based on demonstrated skill. Conditions of Employment
• Direct Deposit and a Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification check.
• Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 40 pounds. Requires constant standing, stooping, bending, walking, reaching, and cleaning after each shift.
Qualifications:
1. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and possess basic math skills.
2. Experience as a Short Order Chef /Food Service Worker. This is a full-time position seeking to be filled ASAP.
3. SafeServe certification is a PLUS.
