Position Highlights

• Consultation-Based Practice: Focus primarily on outpatient consultative care with home call responsibilities.
• Flexibility & Autonomy: The new MFM will have the opportunity to design their practice structure, balancing consults, procedures, and hospital involvement as they see fit.
• Additional Income Opportunity: Option to take unattended hospital call, which can lead to significant supplemental earnings (approximately $20,000/month).
• Established Referral Network: Benefit from strong existing relationships with referring OB/GYNs in the area, with opportunities for further expansion.
• Excellent Support Team: Work alongside experienced MFM sonographers and dedicated administrative staff to ensure smooth clinical operations.
• Collaborative Environment: Access to a network of regional pediatric subspecialists, including cardiology, neonatology, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, and urology.
• Outreach Opportunity: Participate in a current outreach clinic held biweekly, with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency.
• Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Louisiana.
