Heavy Equipment Parts SpecialistFelix Construction Company is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Parts Specialist to support our fleet and heavy equipment operations from our Phoenix shop. This role is critical in minimizing equipment downtime by ensuring our mechanics and field teams have the right parts—when they need them. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of diesel and construction equipment components and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on shop environment.What You'll Be DoingSource, procure, and manage parts for a diverse fleet including heavy equipment, diesel trucks, trailers, and specialty construction machinery and vehiclesPartner closely with shop mechanics and field teams to quickly identify and fulfill parts needs to minimize equipment downtimeResearch and verify parts using OEM manuals, schematics, and vendor systems to ensure proper fit and functionManage inventory of critical fleet and equipment parts, maintaining accurate stock levels and organizationReceive, inspect, label, and store incoming parts and materialsTrack and manage warranties, returns, and core exchanges with vendorsDevelop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and rapid deliveryMonitor usage trends and forecast high-turn or critical spare parts to support proactive maintenanceAssist in coordinating emergency/urgent parts orders for field breakdownsMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant parts and shop areaSupport fleet maintenance tracking systems and ensure accurate documentation of parts usageWho You Are2+ years of experience in parts management for diesel fleet, or construction machinery required, heavy equipment preferredStrong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment componentsExperience supporting fleets of CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, or similar equipment preferredProven ability to quickly source parts and solve equipment-related issues under time pressureFamiliarity with fleet maintenance or inventory management systemsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and inventory control disciplineStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with mechanics and field teamsComfortable working in a shop environment and adapting to shifting prioritiesForklift experience preferredProficient in basic computer systems (Excel, vendor portals, inventory software)Have the legal right to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorshipWhy Join Felix ConstructionFelix Construction is more than a company—we are an employer and contractor of choice with the leadership and infrastructure to sustainably execute on our growth and deliver on our brand promise.
