What You'll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed unit
- Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
- Support and educate patients and their families during treatment
What You Need
Required:- Valid Massachusetts RN license and Temporary Nursing Service Agency license
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care or ICU experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in a similar hospital setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
About the Assignment This critical care RN role is located in the ICU of a reputable facility in Pittsfield, MA. The unit operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2 and requires dedicated, professional nursing staff to deliver high-quality care. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable, and staff will participate in an 8-hour orientation. Please ensure all travel and license documentation are uploaded properly to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
