Administrative Support Assistant (Seasonal)

Duties

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:

• Enter and/or validate time and attendance records in the automated payroll system.
• Prepare, edit, and finalize correspondence for office supervisors and managers.
• Disseminate correspondence to appropriate personnel and track and maintain records of it.
• Maintain the central filing system (official records, directives, BLM Manuals and Technical References, Departmamental manuals and directives, secretarial orders, etc.).
• Provide general information concerning office(s) operations to the public both orally and in writing. Contact may occur though telephone, email, and in person. Respond to inquiries directly or refer individual to the appropriate staff member.
