Project Engineer (Commercial and Public Projects)

Culture built on transparency, accountability, and trust Direct access to leadership and mentorship opportunities Strong emphasis on professional growth and hands‑on responsibility Involvement in meaningful, community‑driven projects Supportive environment that values teamwork, flexibility, and work‑life balance Key Responsibilities Support project managers and superintendents in planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, drawings, and specifications Assist with procurement processes, vendor and subcontractor coordination, and material tracking Monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls to ensure successful project delivery Participate in change management processes, including reviewing proposals and preparing change orders Coordinate with architects, engineers, and trade partners to ensure alignment across all project phases Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1–4+ years of experience in commercial construction (internship experience considered) Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project workflows Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Experience supporting projects in education, healthcare, or public‑sector construction Familiarity with project controls, scheduling, and cost tracking tools Demonstrated ability to build relationships with project teams and clients Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
