Processing Specialist I

Position Overview At Premium Audio Company, you'll work at the intersection of iconic audio brands (Klipsch, Onkyo, and Integra) and cutting‑edge technology, helping shape how people connect with music in their homes and beyond. Join a team that values innovation, creativity, and quality. This Processing Specialist I provides transactional and administrative support to the Customer Service/Product Support function. The role is responsible for routine customer communications, order entry, warranty processing, and accurate data management while following established procedures. Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via phone, chat, email, and text messaging using established scripts, tools, and procedures. Collect required customer and order information and accurately create and update cases within the support ticketing system. Enter and process warranty and non‑warranty orders in accordance with documented procedures. Set up and process warranty exchanges under defined guidelines. Coordinate with logistics and internal teams to resolve basic shipping issues and order discrepancies. Assist customers with website sales inquiries and guided transaction support. Participate in departmental projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Other duties as assigned. How You’ll Do It Communicating effectively – developing and delivering multi‑mode communications that convey clear understanding, tailored to different audiences. Individual efficiency – effectively managing time and resources so that work is completed efficiently. Interpersonal savvy – relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people and building solid working relationships. Problem solving – defining a problem, determining the cause, identifying, prioritizing, selecting alternatives, and implementing solutions. Maintaining a high level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality with respect to company matters. Complying with all company policies, procedures, safety regulations and performing duties in a safe workplace. What to Bring High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Excellent communication and organization skills. 1+ years of customer service or administrative support experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Physical Demands Must be able to sit or remain stationary for extended periods of time. Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern.
