• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for detailed analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, participate in the training of newcomers, and help maintain stringent laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a sanitary and secure work environment while strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, accompanied by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is necessary to obtain within the first year of employment.
• Must keep current certification active throughout employment.
