Assembly Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor The Production Supervisor provides work direction to workers and supervises team leaders performing production activities in a manufacturing environment. With the Plant Manager, coordinates all activities required to ensure production goals are met. Essential Duties And Responsibilities (other duties as assigned) Supervises production team leaders and coordinates the scheduling of people, materials, and equipment. Ensures compliance to company and safety policies and procedures. Works with various departments to assure proper inventory levels are produced and maintained. Provides input to performance reviews and disciplinary actions. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment ensuring that safety and housekeeping standards are met in the factory. Maintains product quality standards, ensuring a high level of work performance by team members. Provides training as necessary. Enforces policies and work rules in a fair and consistent manner. Job Requirements Authorized to work in the U.S. High School Degree or equivalent required. College Education in related field desirable. Minimum of seven (7) years production-related experience. Proficient with MS Office applications. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment desirable. Skills Successful experience with minimal supervision. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. Ability to self-motivate and self-manage. Ability to meet schedule and time deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Ability to work courteously and tactfully with managers and employees. Ability to recognize areas of opportunity and develop action plans. Strong problem analysis and resolution skills. Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills. Exhibits strong team player skills. Physical Demands Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds at a time. Sufficient hand, eye, arm, and finger dexterity. Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking, while also performing repetitive tasks. Prolonged periods of bending and/or twisting throughout a work shift. Preferred Education Associates or better.
