Manager, IIIV Design and Characterization

Role Overview:We are looking for a Manager, Laser NPI, to own design, manufacture, integration, validation, and qualification of lasers and amplifiers across business verticalsWhat you'll do:Own roadmap, execution, validation, and delivery for cutting edge laser and amplifier products acrossbusiness verticalsLead a team of engineers to transition lasers and amplifiers from development to productionDevelop engineering requirement documents for a variety of product lines to ensure devices meetrequired performance, yield, and cost metricsLead integration of IIIV devices into product by working across teams to develop packaging andintegration based on BKMLead design for performance to specs, manufacturing, reliability, test – DFx methodologiesOwn the detailed characterization of IIIV devices to provide iterative design feedbackDesign and develop integrated multi-wavelength lasers for various applicationsOwn definition of test strategy & oversee implementation for validation, reliability, NPI, andproductionDefine lot strategy and splits to improve performance of base designs developed in R&DOwn the NPI and transition to high volume production of cutting edge IIIV device with high yield andlow costWork with internal and external design development teams to develop devices that meet requiredproduct specificationsWhat you have:5+ years of experience with leading teams and delivering cutting edge productsDemonstrated experience with 4 or more of the following – NPI strategy, IIIV design, IIIV process,vendor management, qualification/reliability, validationExperience working cross-functionally to enable data-driven decision makingStrong presentation, communication skills, and results orientedExperience with working with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting edge products$192,341 - $260,239 a yearSalary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges are subject to change in the future.
