About the Role: As a Dietary Manager , you will be responsible for managing the dietary department, overseeing the preparation and service of meals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and quality standards. - Manage and supervise the dietary department, including coordinating meal service, inventory management, and staff supervision
- Ensure compliance with State Regulatopms and maintain high-quality standards
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and menus that align with patient needs and preferences
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized meal plans
- Monitor and report on food safety, quality, and service
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Provide training and orientation to new staff members
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dietary management role
- Knowledge of sanitation and food service regulation in Illinois skilled nursing facilities
- Certified Dietary Manager certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
