Dietary Manager At ALIYA on 87th, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents, and we're seeking a compassionate and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team. As a key member of our dietary services department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily food service operations, ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations. About the Role Overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the Dietary Department Supervising, scheduling, and supporting dietary staff Ensuring meals are prepared and served according to physician orders, dietary requirements, and resident preferences Collaborating with the Registered Dietitian and interdisciplinary team to support resident nutritional needs Maintaining compliance with IDPH, CMS, and food safety regulations Monitoring food quality, portion control, sanitation, and infection control practices Managing food and supply inventory, ordering, and cost control Conducting routine inspections of kitchen, storage, and dining areas Participating in care plan meetings and survey preparation activities Addressing resident and family concerns related to dietary services Training and developing dietary staff to ensure high standards of service and performance Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification required CDL (Certified Dietary Manager) Minimum 2‑3 years of dietary leadership experience in a skilled nursing, long‑term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, and dietary operations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short‑Term Disability Critical Illness and Accident Coverage Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Tuition Reimbursement On‑Demand Pay Option If you're passionate about providing exceptional care and creating a positive dining experience for our residents, join us at ALIYA on 87th.
