Job Opportunity: Gynecologic Oncologist

About the Practice

• You will be joining a dedicated team of three gynecologic oncologists, supported by three advanced practice providers, two clinical nurses, and two residents.
• The practice operates from a single hospital-based location, with plans to expand to an additional clinical site.
• Our service line includes advanced gynecologic and oncologic surgical procedures, chemotherapy, and survivorship services.
• A faculty appointment with the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine is both encouraged and supported.

Candidate Qualifications

• Be board-certified or board-eligible
• Have completed or be in the process of completing a gynecologic oncology fellowship
• Possess experience in robotic and minimally invasive surgery (MIS)

About Our Cancer Institute

The Cancer Institute, a division of our hospital, specializes in early detection, expert diagnosis, personalized treatment options, and survivorship support for every patient. Our team includes medical oncologists, hematologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, and radiation oncologists, each specializing in various cancer types, including breast, lung, gastrointestinal, liver, brain, gynecologic, melanoma, and urologic cancers.

We lead the region in innovation, offering the only precision oncology program for advanced cancers, staffed by clinical oncologists with expertise in genomic sequencing and computational biology. Patients have access to over 200 cancer clinical trials, and we were the first to introduce 3D mammography to the area, boasting the largest network of such centers. Our Koontz Center for Advanced Breast Cancer is the first facility in the U.S. dedicated solely to comprehensive care for Stage 4 breast cancer.
