About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Academic Officer to lead the strategic planning and implementation of its academic programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all educational initiatives are designed to help every student acquire the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to succeed in a dynamic world. This role involves overseeing the development and maintenance of a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of the student population, as well as supervising academic functions related to instruction, assessment, and student data. The Chief Academic Officer will also be tasked with managing a portfolio of schools, fostering a culture of trust and reliability, and providing professional development to both instructional and school leaders. Applicants for the Chief Academic Officer position at the company should have advanced knowledge of equitable educational practices, standards-based education, and curriculum development. The role requires the ability to analyze data to enhance student achievement, deliver effective professional development, and ensure compliance with educational regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in education or a related field, a Principal's License, and a minimum of 7 years' experience in curriculum development, instruction, and data management, along with 3 years' of school-based administrative and supervisory experience. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve the company's educational goals.
