Traveling Construction Superintendent - Augusta, GA

Traveling Construction Superintendent The Traveling Construction Superintendent is based in Augusta, GA, and travels to various project sites as needed. This role is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and specifications. Additional duties may be assigned as required. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily reviews to ensure compliance with construction plans and perform quality control inspections of subcontractors’ work. Review, understand, and enforce project schedules and milestone obligations. Coordinate and manage multiple trades and tasks simultaneously, proactively identifying and resolving conflicts in work conditions. Maintain accurate daily job logs and track and report construction activities on the jobsite. Identify potential change orders and scope gaps in a timely manner and communicate accordingly. Receive, inspect, and verify material deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation. Ensure jobsites are kept clean, organized, and professional at all times. Enforce OSHA regulations and Company safety policies and procedures. Requirements Work Location: On site 5 plus years of construction experience; multiple divisions are preferred. Ability to read drawings, specifications, and renderings. Must be available via phone and/or e-mail for extended work hours, including weekends.
