Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and improving mobility.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including hands-on therapy, exercise regimens, and adaptive equipment, to facilitate patient rehabilitation.
• Regularly track and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on responses and ongoing needs.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families about the treatment process, self-care techniques, and the proper use of assistive devices, if necessary.
• Stay current with industry practices by attending workshops, engaging with professional publications, and participating in relevant organizations.
• Reevaluate patient progress regularly and create new goals and treatment plans to ensure continued growth toward their rehabilitation objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals of all ages, including children and adults, who are recovering from various injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions. Your skills will be crucial in helping patients regain their independence, enhance their quality of life, and return to their daily activities. As a key member of our team, your contributions will support patient recovery journeys through empathetic and evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating expertise and confidence in physical therapy practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and treatment management.
• Willingness to adapt to changing patient needs and flexible approaches to therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Background in working with diverse patient populations and various diagnoses is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
