\nThe Manufacturing Production team is responsible for a wide range of activities that are crucial to the manufacturing process including operating equipment, assembling products, performing quality control checks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.\n
ABOUT THE JOB \n

\nWe are looking for a Production Technician to join our rapidly growing team in Santa Ana, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for assembly and integration of mechanical and/or electrical components. If you are someone who is a highly motivated team player who is willing to support a fast paced team environment and detail oriented self starter with minimal oversight then this role is for you.\n
WHAT YOU'LL DO \n
\n

\n
• Follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and instructions to assemble products or systems
\n
• Use various hand tools and power tools to put components together
\n
• Combine different subsystems or components into a larger, functioning system
\n
• Ensure compatibility and proper communication between integrated components
\n
• Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and any issues encountered
\n
• Follow safety protocols and procedures in the workplace
\n
• Possibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed
\n

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS \n
\n

\n
• 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting (aerospace, electronics, or medical industry is preferred) performing mechanical and/or electrical assemblies
\n
• Proficient with common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, test boxes or specialized test equipment
\n
• Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications)
\n
• Able to read a wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions
\n
• Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
\n
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production
\n
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS \n
\n

\n
• Demonstrated experience with many aspects of aircraft or ground systems fabrication, repair, assembly, and operation including structural fabrication, integration, composites fabrication, and avionics build/integration/test
\n
• Mechanically assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies, high quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components involving hand soldering and component fabrication
\n
• Perform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks
\n
• Experience with common air-frame construction techniques such as rivets, mechanical fasteners, nut plates, etc.
\n
• Prior hands-on experience with kit, model, or experimental aircraft builds
\n
• Electronic box assembly troubleshooting, and writing detailed issue tickets for failures
\n
• Running functional checkouts and tests, and diagnosing issues discovered during these processes
\n
• Testing and running RF systems
\n
• Troubleshoot extensively
\n
• Loading firmware onto integrated digital systems
\n
• Running LabView scripts
\n
• PCBA integration and troubleshooting
\n
• Basic understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles
\n
• Assist with kitting products, as needed
\n
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Math, Hard Science, Business, etc.)
\n
• Holds an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or has similar training
\n
• Forklift certification
\n

US Hourly Range \n
\n
\nProduction Technician/Level 1: $25 - $33/hour \n
\nProduction Technician/Level 2: $28 - $38/hour\n
\nProduction Technician/Level 3: $33 - $43/hour\n
\n
