Position Overview

Acela Truck Company is seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Marketing Manager to oversee the company's marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness, support sales objectives, and promote Acela's products across commercial, government, fire and emergency services, and specialty vehicle markets.

The ideal candidate is a versatile marketing professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, technical B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

· Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with company objectives and sales priorities.

· Maintain consistent brand messaging, positioning, and visual identity across marketing channels.

· Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns, product announcements, and promotional initiatives.

· Collaborate with company leadership, Sales, dealers, and external partners to support marketing objectives.

Content & Social Media

· Develop and manage content across relevant social media platforms.

· Create and manage social media calendars, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.

· Write and edit marketing copy for social media, blogs, newsletters, product materials, and other communications.

· Produce and coordinate photography, video, graphics, and other digital marketing assets.

· Identify opportunities to showcase company products, customer applications, events, and other activities.

Digital & Email Marketing

· Manage website content, updates, and ongoing improvements.

· Develop and implement SEO initiatives to support website visibility and organic traffic.

· Create and distribute email newsletters and marketing campaigns.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date product and company information across digital channels.

· Monitor digital marketing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Marketing Materials & Sales Support

· Develop and maintain brochures, flyers, spec sheets, presentations, signage, and other marketing collateral.

· Support product launches and promotional initiatives through the creation of marketing materials.

· Coordinate marketing resources and requests from Sales, dealers, and partners.

· Work with internal teams to ensure marketing materials accurately represent product features and capabilities.

Trade Shows, Events & Public Relations

· Plan and coordinate marketing activities for trade shows, conferences, demonstrations, and company events.

· Manage event-related promotional materials, communications, and marketing logistics.

· Develop press releases and coordinate media outreach and public relations activities.

· Support marketing partnerships and co-marketing opportunities with dealers and industry partners.

Analytics & Marketing Operations

· Monitor and report on marketing performance across digital channels and campaigns.

· Track key performance indicators and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

· Manage marketing calendars, project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships.

· Research industry trends, competitors, and emerging marketing opportunities.

· Recommend improvements to marketing activities based on performance and business objectives.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.

· 3+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related field.

· Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

· Experience managing social media channels, developing content, and executing marketing campaigns.

· Familiarity with website content management, email marketing, SEO, and digital analytics.

· Experience creating or coordinating visual content, including photography, video, and graphic design.

· Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate technical information clearly and accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, manufacturing, fire and emergency services, or a related B2B industry.

· Familiarity with paid digital advertising, public relations, and trade show marketing.

· Experience with marketing automation, content management, and creative software.
