Oncology Sales Specialist - OKC/North TX

Merck seeks an Oncology Sales Specialist to drive sales growth and customer engagement in the Oklahoma City and North Texas territory. The role involves building relationships with oncology practices, educating stakeholders on oncology products, and achieving assigned sales targets within a field-based sales position.
Responsibilities
- Attain or exceed assigned sales goals in collaboration with territory team members
- Meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business models, and identify customer needs
- Communicate patient-centered product messaging using approved resources and clinical rationale
- Analyze market trends across multiple drug distribution channels including GPOs and specialty pharmacies
- Develop and execute short- and long-term account plans with territory team and district manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years oncology field-based sales experience selling oncology therapeutics
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive regularly
- Willingness to travel overnight as required for territory coverage
- Residence in or near Oklahoma City/North Texas territory
- Knowledge of oncology clinical pathways, treatment options, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Experience with complex healthcare accounts and drug distribution channels
