JD Edwards Application Development ManagerA manufacturing and distribution company in Lawrence, Massachusetts is hiring an Application Development Manager to lead the design, development, and support of its business-critical applications, including its JD Edwards ERP platform and other internal systems. This is a leadership role responsible for managing a team of developers, setting priorities, coaching talent, and aligning technology solutions with business goals. The role owns the full application lifecycle and maintains fiscal accountability for development projects and tools.Schedule: Full-time, onsite in Lawrence, MA. Remote or hybrid eligibility to be confirmed with the employer.Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience. Pay range to be confirmed with the employer.What You'll Do:You will oversee the design, development, and ongoing support of the company's application portfolio, with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or World at the center alongside other internal and enterprise systems. You will manage a team of developers, setting priorities, coaching technical staff, and ensuring development work maps to measurable business outcomes. You will own the full application lifecycle and drive continuous improvement across development practices, including Agile and Scrum methodologies and DevOps. You will also manage integrations between the ERP and external systems, work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, and maintain budget accountability for development projects, tools, and resources.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field5 or more years of progressive experience in application development, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management roleStrong working knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or World development environments (OMW, BSFN, UBE)Familiarity with SQL, RPG, or other relevant programming languages and frameworksExperience managing integrations between ERP and external systemsDemonstrated ability to lead and coach technical teamsExperience managing budgets and optimizing resources within IT or application teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in a manufacturing or distribution environmentHands-on experience with modern software architecture, Agile and Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practicesExperience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or manufacturing management platformsExperience with modern development tools and project tracking systemsCompensation and Benefits:Salary commensurate with experience (specifics to be confirmed with the employer)Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k)Paid time offTo apply, submit your resume through this posting.
