Description Lead daily production operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Promote a safety‑first culture by managing Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), Job‑Specific Training (JST), retraining, and documented safety conversations. Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to implement procedures, corrective actions, and audit readiness. Ensure effective containment and escalation of non‑conforming product and drive process consistency to reduce scrap, rework, and expedited freight. Oversee start‑ups and set‑ups, ensuring clear accountability across shifts. Partner with cross‑functional leaders to resolve operational challenges, support on‑time delivery, and create action plans aligned with customer and facility goals. Communicate daily expectations to supervisors and track progress toward safety, quality, cost, and productivity targets. Support budgeting and long‑range planning, including staffing and cost‑reduction initiatives. Develop and coach supervisory and technical teams through regular feedback, goal setting, and talent development activities. Profile 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with plastic injection molding highly preferred. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and experience using ERP, MES, or similar production systems. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred but not required, depending on experience.
