Facilities Maintenance TechnicianWe are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician at Home of the Innocents to help keep our campus, facilities, and equipment safe and operational for the children and families we serve. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our environment meets the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality, all while contributing to our mission of providing hope and healing.A Day in the LifeAs a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll help maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment of Home of the Innocents in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards. You'll coordinate daily maintenance tasks, respond to work orders, and assist with ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents and staff. Your work ensures that the environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.How This Position Contributes to the MissionEnsure that maintenance schedules are followed and coordinate daily maintenance services as needed.Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times, using appropriate safety equipment when needed.Maintain campus and work areas in a safe and orderly manner on a daily basis.Work collaboratively with each department to ensure all maintenance needs are met.Track and report maintenance supply needs, ensuring everything is properly cleaned and stored daily.Report equipment malfunctions and breakdowns as soon as possible.Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; trade or vocational school training preferred.
