Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office facility in Oakland, California, and operates on a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' specific goals and needs, ensuring individualized treatment plans are developed accordingly.
• Maintain an optimal patient load, facilitating one-on-one sessions with each patient for effective therapy.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services that include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
• Administer a variety of evidence-based treatment interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical function.
• Develop and customize exercise and wellness programs tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and maintaining clear lines of communication regarding their health status.
• Document all patient care activities thoroughly, adhering to compliance and quality standards set forth by the organization.
• Promote healthy lifestyles through education about injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses primarily on orthopedic conditions, treating a diverse range of patients including those recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• Clean licensure history with no board actions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effective exercise programming.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient clinic is preferred.
• Prior involvement in developing wellness programs or community health initiatives is a plus.
• Certification or specialized training in a recognized physical therapy specialty is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
