Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Customer Service Representative role based at Hoboken Vets Animal Clinic in Hoboken, NJ. The Customer Service Representative will serve as the first point of contact for clients, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and responding to email inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Daily responsibilities include scheduling and confirming appointments, coordinating check-in and check-out processes, processing payments, and accurately updating client and patient records. The role also involves providing clear information about clinic services, policies, and pet care instructions, while ensuring a smooth and positive experience for clients and their animals. The Customer Service Representative will collaborate closely with veterinarians and technicians, assist with administrative tasks, and help maintain an organized, welcoming reception area. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in customer service, customer support, and customer satisfaction. Ability to enhance the customer experience and uphold high standards of customer service. Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills in a client-facing environment. Comfort working with animals and pet guardians, with a calm and empathetic approach. Proficiency with scheduling systems, basic computer applications, and accurate data entry. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a busy clinic setting. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, healthcare office, or customer-facing role is preferred.
