Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery for Emergency Room patients
• Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within the facility EMR system (Cerner)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Active Illinois RN license (must reflect Active status on Nursys)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification
• Current Skills Checklist (within the past year) pertinent to Emergency Room specialty required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this assignment
