• EMR: Cerner
• Patient Ratio: 8 bay unit with up to 17 patients per day
• Dress code: Hospital provided scrubs
• Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
  Responsible for admission and discharge of surgical/procedure patients, to include nursing admission assessments, Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care. Must have strong assessment, IV, and patient education skills, be able to multitask well and communicate with all team members (nursing and physician colleagues.) Prefer a candidate with PACU/ICU experience. Time management and customer service skills essential.
• This role is in the Same Day Surgery Center. This role will mostly be PACU, but they will need to step into the OR to assist as needed. The
  Surgical Services department has 2 operating rooms and a procedure room. We
  provide mostly outpatient procedures with limited inpatient. We provide care to
  patients ages 16 and older.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks (if scheduled/needed):

Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after
Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after
New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after

Local Travelers - Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible for this need.

• Minimum 2 yrs SAME DAY SURGERY experience - Required
• Experience working in a rural OR outpatient facility - Required
• Admitting and Discharge experience required
• Phase I and II/PACU experience - Required
• IV starts required
• Must be able to prepare OR for surgery (pre-op), not just the patient for surgery
• CERNER EMR EXPERIENCE - Required
• Travel experience - Highly preferred
• MANAGER REQUIRES A VERY DETAILED PROFILE/WORK HISTORY, AND VERY DETAILED SKILLS CHECKLISTS!
• This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
• Perm address for traveler must be included in profile
• Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
