Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate maintenance equipment safely. Familiar with hotel lock systems Onity, Doormakaba, Saflok. Working knowledge of PTAC units. Familiar with Quore. Preferred Qualifications Certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing trades. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Knowledge of safety standards and regulations such as OSHA. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests, diagnosing issues and completing repairs efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and inventory of supplies and equipment. Collaborate with management and other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to hotel operations and guest experience. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies by following proper procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
