The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that support Jennmar's reporting and analytics environment. Works within the BI team to extract, transform, and load data from Ross, D365 F&O, and other source systems into the data warehouse, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and well-structured for downstream Power BI reporting. Builds and optimizes pipelines for performance and reliability; writes and tunes complex SQL; monitors and resolves ETL job failures; maintains data quality through validation, error handling, and logging; documents data flows and transformation logic; and supports data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling. Position is onsite full time at PITCORP, with two remote days per month after the initial ramp period.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or in a similar data engineering role. Strong hands-on SQL development and tuning experience. Oracle database experience.

Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing principles, and data integration best practices. Ability to independently troubleshoot data discrepancies and diagnose pipeline failures. Preferred experience with WhereScape RED or TimeXtender. Preferred experience with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, and Dataverse. Preferred experience with D365 Finance & Operations. Preferred DBA experience. Preferred experience with dimensional modeling, SSIS, and Power BI. Preferred experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Design, build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines supporting reporting and analytics. Extract, transform, and load data from Ross, D365 F&O, and other source systems into the data warehouse. Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures. Implement data validation, error handling, and logging to maintain data quality. Document data flows, transformation logic, and integration processes. Support data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling. Collaborate with the BI team to support Power BI reporting and analytics needs. Build and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
