This position is in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What You Will Get To Do:Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in analyzing and evaluating knowledge and skill gaps to identify training requirements and develop appropriate learning solutions.Design and develop training products for multiple modalities, including online, in-person, hybrid, as well as synchronous and asynchronous formats.Develop a comprehensive suite of training materials-including instructor-led sessions, microlearning modules, interactive online courses, and on-the-job qualification/certification programs-with minimal supervision.Curriculum design experience utilizing current SCORM standards Technical and creative writing; developing technical training CDRLs.Experience with digital instructional design software (e.g., Camtasia, Storyline, Adobe Captivate/Creative Suite)Stay at the forefront of training research, continuously monitoring emerging learning theories, software tools, and industry standards and translating insights into strategic enhancements.May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop training courseware.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors of Science in Instructional Systems Design, Instructional Technology, Human Performance, Training and Learning Development, Psychology, Marketing, or related field.Principal Engineer Technical Services: 5 Years of experience with Bachelors of Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD. An additional 4 years of experience can be considered in 'lieu of' a degree.Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 yearsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needExperience designing learning materials for technical disciplinesExperience developing learning materials for technical disciplinesExperience developing technology-based learning productsExperience creating formative and summative evaluations for technical disciplinesExperience in conducting training evaluations in accordance with Kirkpatrick 4 levels of evaluation and Phillips 5 levels of evaluationExperience working in ADDIE and other training development models for technical disciplinesExperience applying adult learning theories and process-driven instructional design principlesAbility to travel 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of human performance processes to breakdown knowledge and skill gaps to identify appropriate learning solutionsMultimedia design experience (audio/video editing, 2D/3D design, animation, software simulation, etc.)Experience using multiple instructional development software toolsExperience executing and delivering training system products on large DoD military programAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
