Details Level IV Maternal Designation unit with 26 LDR suites (including low intervention rooms), 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 16 monitored ante-partum beds Academic teaching service supporting large private OB practices High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500 deliveries per month 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage Perinatal Transport Program in place Shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15 13-week assignment length Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross accepted) Current ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross accepted) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AAP required Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service preferred S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility Candidates should discuss assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date American Traveler Job ID P-743712.
